BRAND HISTORY
The founder of the brand is the Italian-born optician Gianluca Gualandi, where all his friends and acquaintances called him Talla.
He created and began to develop a network of optical concept stores.
During the optical fair in Paris in 2004, he met Caroline Abram, with whom he fell in love and moved to Paris for her. Together they started working on developing the Caroline Abram brand. This experience led to the creation of my own brand, TALLA EYEWEAR.
TALLA in Spanish means sculpture. It is a collection for gentlemen, inspired
the three great cities of Miami, Rome and Paris.
The frames are stylish and very original, with a wide selection of non-obvious colors and shapes.
MIAMI is a collection of metal frames. The designer looks for inspiration in everyday life, travels to places where street art harmonizes with rococo, where everyday life meets the bustling city.
ROME are acecat frames. Rome has inspired Gianluca from an early age because it shows the typical epitome of Italian elegance, style and temperament. It all started in Rome, which is why the names of the glasses models are related to his personal memories.
PARIS is a collection of prescription frames and sunglasses made of combined materials. He lives in Paris and associates this place with openness and good food. The fixture models are named after his favorite restaurants.
Gianluca creates glasses that fit various face shapes, and draws inspiration mainly from his travels and the places he has visited. Thanks to his mother, who is a haute couture seamstress, he learned precision and attention to detail. It was she who awakened his passion for designing and creating his own projects.
